Mount Olympus and Mount Ossa

See what Mount Olympus and Mount Ossa have to offer on this amazing hike!

Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece. It is also the symbol of the ancient Greek story of the twelve gods living at its peak, the Mytikas (2917m). Its glorious nature helped to nominate it to be first national park in the country in 1938. On its slopes hikers will see rivers, waterfalls, wild goats and many flowers.
Ossa (or Kissavos) is a small mountain, but with great interest. Proximity to the sea gave it its unique diversity. On its eastern slopes more than 800 plant species can be found, some of them are endemic (grow nowhere else). The paths that have formed on the slopes are easy to walk and served as a liaison between the villages. The Pelion architecture of the houses gives a special character to the region.

The path gives us the opportunity to enjoy the waterfalls and the lakes that form. Our route takes us to the Grotto of St. Dionysius. Then we see the narrow and impressive canyon.
